When the right-wing justices on the Supreme Court followed the urging of far-right billionaires and overturned Roe v. Wade, it was a massive, life-altering setback for millions of women. I support codifying Roe into federal law to reverse the damage this captured Supreme Court has done to women’s freedoms. With Republicans seeking a nationwide abortion ban – even in Rhode Island – and threatening access to IVF, I will continue defending women’s rights to make their own family planning decisions and determine the course of their own lives.
